muscovite nom féminin (anglais Muscovy, Moscovie) Variété de mica blanc qui est un silicate hydraté naturel d'aluminium et de potassium, que l'on rencontre dans les granites et les micaschistes. (Elle est utilisée industriellement comme isolant.)
